NEWPORT R.I. - Our next round of signings feature Sophomore left-handed pitcher Kyler Zagar from Oklahoma State University, Sophomore left-handed pitcher Will Taylor from Trinity University, and Freshman right-handed pitcher Zane Stahl from the University of Louisville. The 2026 Player Signings are brought to you by GOING YARD BASEBALL!
Kyler Zagar is a pitcher for the Oklahoma State Cowboys baseball program, bringing strong experience and a competitive edge to the mound. A native of Perry, Oklahoma, Zagar uses his frame and left-handed delivery to create matchup advantages against the opposing hitters. He began his college career at Cowley College, where he quickly established himself as one of the top junior college pitchers in the country. At Cowley, Zagar earned NJCAA Division I Second Team All-American honors and was named Freshman of the Year in the Jayhawk Conference East Division after posting a 10–1 record with a 2.77 ERA and 73 strikeouts in 65 innings. He also starred in high school at Perry High School, going 11–0 with a 0.98 ERA and 121 strikeouts while helping lead his team to a state championship appearance. A decorated in-state talent, Zagar was named NWOBCA Large School Pitcher of the Year and earned multiple all-state honors during his prep career. Now at Oklahoma State, he continues to develop within a competitive Big 12 program, focusing on refining his command and expanding his pitch arsenal as he transitions to the Division I level.
Will Taylor is a pitcher for the Trinity University (Texas) baseball program, bringing strong size and development potential to the mound. A native out of Ridgefield, Connecticut, Taylor stands at 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, using his frame to generate power and speed in his delivery. He developed at Ridgefield High School, where he built a foundation as a competitive arm before transitioning to the college level. Taylor continues to grow within a respected Division III program in Trinity, focusing on finding his command and pitch consistency. His role in the Trinity staff has emphasized developing as a reliable innings option, whether in relief or starting assignments. With his physical tools and local New England baseball background, Taylor adds depth to the Bantams’ pitching staff. As he gains more collegiate experience, he is working to translate his raw potential into consistent in-game production.
Zane Stahl is a pitcher for the Louisville Cardinals baseball program, bringing elite size and upside to the mound as a freshman. Stahl uses his long frame to create a steep downhill angle that makes him a difficult matchup for hitters. A native out of Muskegon, Michigan, Stahl developed his game at P27 Academy, where he emerged as a strong pitching prospect before arriving at Louisville. Early in his collegiate career, he has been used in relief, gaining valuable experience against ACC competition. In limited action, Stahl has shown strong effectiveness, posting a low earned run average while limiting hits and runs in his first few appearances. With his combination of size, velocity potential, and developing command, Stahl projects as a promising young arm within Louisville’s pitching staff. As he continues to adjust to the college level, he remains a player to watch as he grows into a larger role on the mound.
